Iran Launches Mass Drone Attack in Hybrid Operation against Israeli Regime

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The latest round of Iran’s retaliatory military strikes against the Zionist regime was conducted on Thursday evening with a combination of ballistic missiles and a swarm of drones, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced.

The IRGC said in a statement that the 15th wave of attacks as part of the Operation True Promise 3 was launched against the Zionist regime on Thursday afternoon.

The hybrid attack involved missiles and drones to hit the military targets and the industrial sites affiliated with the Israeli military industries in Haifa and Tel Aviv, the IRGC added.

It noted that over 100 unmanned aerial vehicles, including various combat and suicide drones, were flown to strike the military targets, specifically the anti-missile air defense systems in Haifa and Tel Aviv.

The statement emphasized that a “growing trend” and “efficiency-oriented missile operations” against the Zionist regime’s military targets and military industries are on the agenda of the IRGC.

The Zionist regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13. It carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that resulted in the martyrdom of scores of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens.

The Iranian military forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. They IRGC has carried out 15 waves of retaliatory strikes against the Israeli regime as of June 19, inflicting heavy damages on the Zionists.
