Pharmaceuticals, Medical Equipment Available in Abundance in Iran: Health Ministry
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Health Ministry assured people that adequate reserves of medicine and medical equipment have been stored to satisfy demand amid the Israeli regime’s assaults against the country.
In a statement on Sunday, the Health Ministry dismissed rumors about any shortcoming in the health sector.
It gave an assurance that detailed planning has resulted in the provision of sufficient reserves of pharmaceuticals and medical products.
An adviser to the head of the Food and Drug Administration of Iran told Tasnim on Sunday that pharmaceuticals and baby formula are sufficiently available across the country.
The emergency health services officials have called on people to avoid gathering at the explosion sites or locations hit in the Israeli attacks in order to ensure their own safety and allow for the rapid rescue and relief operations.
The spokeswoman for the Iranian administration announced on Sunday that the government will compensate victims of the Israeli attacks whose dwellings, cars, offices or shops have been damaged.
The Israeli regime attacked a number of residential neighborhoods of Tehran as well as military and nuclear sites in other parts of Iran in the early hours of June 13.
Several top military commanders, at least six Iranian nuclear scientists, and dozens of civilians have been martyred in the strikes.
The Israeli strikes continued on Saturday and Sunday, resulting in civilian casualties.
The Iranian Armed Forces have taken retaliatory action against the Zionist regime, hitting several cities in the occupied territories with powerful ballistic missiles in three rounds of strikes.
